Five Last Minute (Emergency) Holiday Card Ideas

by Brandie Knox on October 17, 2012

The holidays are just around the corner. If your firm hasn’t started the holiday card process, here are five ideas that can quickly be implemented:

  1. Donate to a charity or organization. Send a personal note to your clients stating that such a donation has been made in their name.
  2. Send an animated New Year’s card. January is a time for renewal and new beginnings. It’s also a time to stand out from the crowd as your clients have likely been bombarded with cards throughout the holiday season.
  3. Skip the animation and music, and send a printed card. We don’t get a lot of snail-mail these days (aside from bills and bank statements) so a physical card with a handwritten note can help differentiate your message.
  4. Communicate the value of your clients via social media. Through a blog post, Twitter or LinkedIn, let them know how valuable they are to your business and personal development.
  5. Vow to start the process earlier next year!
