President’s Message – Summer 2015

by Seth Apple on September 29, 2015

Apple, Seth 2014Summer has drifted into Fall. I have always loved this time of year, particularly at work, as it calls for us to look both forward and back with equal intensity. Many of us will begin reviewing and reporting on our business development and marketing efforts during the year while at the same time preparing for a final push toward 2016. The lessons learned in October and November can be applied in real-time and often extremely rewarding. However, it can also be a daunting few months in the office.

Fear not. Like the crisp mornings that will soon follow, your Metro New York LMA Chapter is here to invigorate and inspire along the way.

With topics such as “Client Feedback: The Basics and Beyond – It’s Much More than Q&A,” “Leveraging Relationship Capital through Strategic Referral Programs,” “Many Approaches/One Goal: CRM Success for Smaller Firms,” and “Pipeline to Business Development Success” in September alone, there is plenty to Learn Modify and Apply when you get back at the office.

Of course, the Board of Directors will look back at the efforts of our Chapter over the past year as well. We are committed to continually improving the operations, services and overall experience of our members. As we enter the final quarter of the year, we will pause to reflect and report on some lessons learned while also looking forward to the General Counsel Forum in October, another one of our marquee events.

Best wishes for continued success.

Seth M. Apple

2015 NYLMA Chapter President
